ELAP Services, LLC, a national provider of outsourced fiduciary expertise to self-funded plans, recently announced the addition of Nicole Blanche Guerin, JD/BSN as Director of Operations and Phyllis Ware Feldpush, RN as Client Representative. Nicole and Phyllis will bolster ELAP's ability to direct new case management initiatives.
Ms. Guerin is responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization, including overseeing the medical bill audit team, the balance bill support team, and the provider appeals team. Additionally, she will be working with our clients providing plan document support, onboarding and technical integration to address individual client needs.
Prior to joining ELAP Services, LLC, Ms. Guerin was a Senior Vice President at Towers Watson (formerly Towers, Perrin, Forster and Crosby). She was responsible for the automation, integration and management of the North American Excess of Loss Claims team and North American Reinsurance Contracts team for the Brokerage Line of business. Ms. Guerin has also been the in-house counsel for two insurance companies. She has substantial experience in insurance and reinsurance dispute management, collections, contract interpretation and commutations, as well as regulatory analysis and compliance implementation.
Nicole received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University and a Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Courts and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Federal District Court and licensed to practice nursing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She held a CCRN for 10 years.
Ms. Feldpush is a nationally licensed Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager. She brings a wealth of experience in Out of Network contract negotiations, Disease Management and over 20 years of relevant Health Care experience. Prior to joining ELAP, Ms. Feldpush was responsible for Catastrophic Claims Management at Alicare with special focus on selfinsured union funds and stop loss reporting on high-risk patient populations.
Phyllis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Drexel University and BSN from Immaculata University and is associated with The Case Management Society of America.
